Starting next month, I will begin a multi-year journey with the goal of becoming an Industrial / Organizational Psychologist.  In talking with my friends about my journey, most give me that puzzled look.  That one eyebrow up like "The Rock" is a common expression i see.  So, here it is, everything you would ever want to know about what I/O Psychologist do. 

I was speaking to a friend the other day about something they had experienced.  They had a medical emergency and thought they actually may not make it out alive.  It was a very powerful conversation, not in the fact that they had an emergency though.  

Life Coaching is a really neat yet often misunderstood industry.  "What is Life Coaching?" may just be one of the most asked questions.  Please allow me to explain what Life Coaching is and what I do.

It's important to set lofty goals.  If we set goals easily obtainable, we often find them not rewarding and we are even sometimes left with the question of "Why did I do that anyway?".

Whether it is our self-talk or what we say to someone.  The words we speak carry meaning well beyond the dictionary.  Words have the ability to unite, motivate and inspire.  Words also have the powerful ability to re-enforce undesirable patterns in our thoughts and actions that leave us debilitated.  We can even do this subconsciously, our mind on autopilot.  Here are 5 words that I would like you to think long and hard about!
